MARKHAM, ON — The Markham community is grieving the sudden and tragic loss of Todd A. Gerrard, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who passed away on October 16, 2025, following an accident.
Todd, a lifelong resident of Markham and a graduate of Markham District High School, was remembered by family and friends as a bright, caring presence who made life better for everyone around him. Known for his warm smile, big heart, and unwavering loyalty, Todd had a rare ability to make people feel valued and welcome.
“He was more than just a brother or a friend — he was a light in everyone’s life,” a family member said. “Todd’s energy lifted people up, and his kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he met.”
