The Pearland community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Anthony Tupper, a beloved resident, husband, father, and the dedicated Head Instructor and Owner of Tupper Martial Arts Academy. Anthony’s sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, students, and all those who were fortunate to know him.

A proud graduate of Pearland High School, Anthony was known not only for his mastery of martial arts but also for his unwavering commitment to his students and community. At his academy, he trained countless young people from Alvin ISD and Pearland ISD, teaching them far more than physical skills — he instilled values of discipline, respect, perseverance, and self-confidence that will stay with them for life.

To his students, Anthony was more than an instructor; he was a mentor, role model, and guiding force. To his loved ones, he was a devoted husband to Krystle Ann Tupper, and a loving father whose compassion and positivity radiated in every aspect of his life.

Beyond his contributions to martial arts, Anthony was deeply involved in his community. As a longtime member of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce and immediate past president of the board of directors for The Birthday Joy Program, he worked tirelessly to bring joy and support to children and families across the region. His leadership, generosity, and dedication to service reflected his belief in lifting others up and making a difference wherever he could.

Friends and colleagues remember Anthony as a man whose kindness, humility, and infectious optimism left a lasting mark on everyone he met.
